Rock Around the Park. Ringgold Church will host Outdoor Movie Night Friday, Aug. 12, at 8:30 p.m. Ringgold Kidz Present “Rock Dog 2: Rock Around the Park” (NR-1:27). Bring a chair.
Get funky. The Brahman Noodles will perform Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Rough Edges Brewing. Enjoy a brew and some Jug Funk with the jamcoustic sounds of The Brahman Noodles. This is the band’s debut at Rough Edges.
Get crafting. The Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library will host a craft event from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Paint decorative rocks. Registration is required.
Put hands on history. Relics Display Day will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Monterey Pass Battlefield and Park. On display will be weapons, bullets, artillery shells and solder’s Civil War equipment.
Be peachy. The 43rd Annual Leitersburg Ruritan Peach Festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Leitersburg Ruritan Community Center. More than 100 vendors will be on hand, plus peachy food, kids’ barrel train, pony rides and more. Free parking and entry.
