GREENCASTLE – Jayden Pine, 18, was arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle case on Thursday, June 12, Greencastle police reported. Officers said they were notified at approximately 10:30 a.m. that day regarding a vehicle stolen from Jerome King Playground.
Following a prompt investigation, the vehicle was located a short time later in Washington Township. With the assistance of local authorities, Pine was taken into custody in connection with the incident. Police did not provide the city of residence of Pine or whether he has been freed on bond.
The investigation remains ongoing, and charges are pending. The Greencastle Police Department thanks the Washington Township Police and all involved for their cooperation in the swift resolution of this case.
