CHAMBERSBURG – Habitat For Humanity and St John’s United Church of Christ have partnered together again to host a used book sale to benefit Habitat’s housing ministry. More than 30,000 books, puzzles, games, music and more were donated by the community.

Donations for the sale are now closed. The sale will take place at St. John’s UCC over three days on Friday, Oct. 25, from 2 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 27, from noon to 4 p.m.

This is a volunteer-led initiative, and all proceeds will be used to help build the next Habitat house in Franklin County. We especially thank the leadership at St. John’s Church for the sale space, BCM Payroll Services for their generous sponsorship, and The Butcher Shoppe for donating bags.” St John’s Church is located at 1811 Lincoln Way E.
