CARLISLE — The G.B. Stuart Gallery is set to host an intriguing exhibition titled “The Gift of Nature,” featuring the works of Marti Yeager, Ann Ruppert and Rod Stabler. The exhibition opens today and will run through Sept. 14. The opening reception will be from 5:30 to 7 tonight.
Marti Yeager, a full-time artist based in Fayetteville, will showcase her evocative oil paintings that draw inspiration from the natural world . Complementing Yeager’s paintings, Rod Stabler will present his intricately turned wood vessels, which are further enhanced by the surface decorations of Ann Ruppert. This collaboration highlights the diverse ways in which nature serves as both muse and material for artists.
In addition to “The Gift of Nature,” visitors can explore another thought-provoking exhibit in the Upper Gallery. “Working Backwards” by Mia Cinelli invites attendees to ponder a future that has already occurred, encouraging reflections on actions that could shape or alter such a future.
The G.B. Stuart Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
