Say Hello to our Pet of the Week, Drogo!
Drogo is one of our longest residents and has been with us for 488 days and is still looking for her forever home!
Drogo is a very special girl and definitely one of the staff and volunteer favorites. Every morning she does her daily exploring around the shelter and spends the rest of the time following staff and chatting to them! This goofy girl has a very distinct meow and you can tell when she is the one wanting attention. Drogo loves all kinds of toys but enjoys catnip toys and wand toys the most! She loves getting special treats and is a big fan of canned food.
Drogo use to be one of our free roam cats until she was no longer getting along with one of our other cats. She can be picky with the other cats she wants to befriend and does significantly better with easy-going cats or cats that are uninterested in her. We have not seen her directly interact with dogs but would be willing to try. She prefers to be held and receive affection on her own terms so children that understand she needs her own space at times would be best for Drogo.
Drogo is four-years old now and has spent more than half of her life with us! If you are looking for a cuddly, talkative kitty, Drogo is the girl for you!
