Share your talent. An Open Mic Night will be held Friday, May 5, from 6-9 p.m. at Sew ‘N Sip (6195 Chambersburg Road, Fayetteville). Local musician Michael Sneeringer will provide pro sound, cool lighting and a great atmosphere. Enjoy delicious cafe drinks and a gracious audience.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Nick Stover will provide the music. Food from 5-8 p.m., music from 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 5, at the Waynesboro Country Club.

Stroll the market. Shop at more than 200 businesses and vendors, grab some food and take the kids to the Kid Zone in downtown Waynesboro during Spring Market Day on Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Main Street will be shut down for this event.

Buy the book. The Friends of the Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library will host a book sale Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the library in Waynesboro.

Learn about another realm. An Afternoon with Rob Gutro, “The Pet Psychic,” will be held Sunday, May 7, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Historic 1912 Hoover House in Waynesboro. Meet and greet Gutro, followed by a lecture about how pets communicate from spirit. Tickets are $25. Call 717-521-7465. There will not be readings at this event, but you can book them for later.
