5 Things to Do: Feb. 24-26

Find the Spice of Life. The exhibit, “The Spice of Life: Art for the Holidays and Beyond,” will be held today, Friday, Feb. 24, from 5 to 8 pm. At Gallery 50. The exhibit features the work of 10 artists: Melissa Hook, Roberta Iula, Amélie Lavenant-Wink, Leslie McEntire, Mary Moores, Nancy Rehm, Heidi O’Toole, Kyle Vogel, Anita Williams and Marti Yeager. The exhibit will be on display through April 15. Gallery 50 is open on Fridays from 5 – 8 pm, Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Go to the races. The East Coast Carpet Oval Series RC race will be held Friday, Feb. 24-Saturday, Feb. 25 at 997 RC Raceway. Contact the track for more information.

Head for the Hills. The Waynesboro Area Middle School play, “Heading for the Hills,” will be live on stage today, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students.

Find your youth. National Pokemon Day will be celebrated at the Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library, the Crispy Biscuit and The Waynesboro Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 25. Activities include a scavenger hunt, movie and more.

Get jammin’. A Jammin’ for the Arts Music & Arts Festival will be held Sunday, Feb. 26, from 2 to 6 p.m. at 633 Brewing. Six bands will perform. Advance tickets are required.
