Bridge Replacement Project to Begin in Peters Township

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced that a bridge replacement project is set to begin this week on Mountain Road (Route 3011) near the Village of Cove Gap in Peters Township, Franklin County. The bridge spans Buck Run just north of Route 16.

Weather permitting, work will begin Friday, February 24. The bridge will be closed. A detour will be in place using Route 75 and Route 16.

JVI Group, Inc., of York Springs, PA, is the contractor on this $831,916 project. Work is expected to be completed by July 5, 2023.
