5 Things to do this weekend: Dec. 23-25

Bounce around town. Bounce your way around town Friday, Dec. 23, from 1 to 4 p.m. to find the Buddy and Jovie hats to win prizes donated by local businesses, and then head over to The Waynesboro Theatre for showings of “Elf” at 4 and 7 p.m. The Bounce is free for teams and individuals.

Celebrate The Spice of Life. A new exhibit, “The Spice of Life: Art for the Holidays and Beyond,” opens Friday, Dec. 23, with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gallery 50. Ten featured artists will participate in the show, which runs through April 15.

Tap your toes. Drew Adams will perform Friday, Dec. 23, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Music Makers. Most of his influences come from the 1990’s, but some of the more classic selections include covers by Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash and Van Morrison.

Visit the North Pole. A Polar Express Magic Movie Event will be held Saturday, Dec. 24, from 9 a.m. to noon at Warehouse Cinemas Leitersburg. Make a Christmas movie memory that you won’t forget. The conductor will be stopping by to say hello, and there will be holiday popcorn, and hot cocoa for purchase. The family-friendly film is based on friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas. Tickets are $1.

Roll into Christmas with Santa. Spend your Christmas Eve at the rink with the guy in the red suit. Santa makes a stop at Roll R Way roller skating rink in Chambersburg Saturday, Dec. 24, from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission if $7.
