WAYNESBORO–The Borough of Waynesboro recently received a check for $2,000 to assist with the construction of the stage at Memorial Park.
The gift came from Janet Smedley, a longtime school music teacher who is an active Waynesboro Community Concert Association board member. Janet used proceeds from the sale of her beloved personal piano to make the donation.
